about
The field recordings for this composition were made during the ArtCamp 2004 project: an art/artists exchange between Sweden and Mongolia, sponsored by the Swedish Institute.
The sounds were recorded on the Trans-Siberian Railway; inside the train and outside while crossing the Chinese-Mongolian border.
A couple of months after we came back home, the participants gathered to commemorate this event with a show at Fylkingen, 9 Oct 2004, Stockholm, Sweden. This piece had it's premiere that night.
